Nada Wotshela

Nada Wotshela has led SABC Radio since November 2017. Her portfolio of 19 stations gives the public broadcaster around 73% of all radio listening in South Africa, with 27 million listeners. She started in community radio in Gqeberha in 1996, joined the SABC in 1999 as a junior announcer at Umhlobo Wenene FM, and later became its first female and youngest station manager. Along the way she rebuilt CKI FM into today's tru fm and served as the SABC's Provincial General Manager in the Western Cape. She holds a BA from the University of Fort Hare and an MAP from Wits Business School.
